Today we worked on a video response in canvas about minimum wage. I learned that Georgia’s minimum wage is 7.25. That is pretty bad. Living off of that and taking care of family as a single mother is very hard. At least that’s what I saw in the video. It’s very clear that that mother was not making enough money to support her kid and pay for her home. She was struggling with budgeting as well she had absolutely no strategies. Although she had help paying for her home she still did not have enough to even afford it. In my opinion it is definitely hard to live off of such a low wage.
